I got my initial lab results in yesterday but didn’t have time to post about them until today.  I think the cholesterol theory of heart disease is a joke but I know people are still concerned about it, especially in the context of eating red meat.  I’m not concerned about the LDL but curious to see what it does after this month.  Homocysteine is about a point higher than I like to see but again, we’ll see what happens.  Will my cholesterol rise, will my testosterone tank, or will my CRP go out of control?  Inquiring minds want to know…especially me.

If my cholesterol goes up, I won’t care.  If my insulin, CRP, and homocysteine jack up, then I’ll have a little freak out moment.  But if all goes to crap, I will just return to what I was doing prior to the experiment.  This is why tracking your lifestyle is great, you can look back and duplicate what has worked for you in the past.
