Today's episode features new parents Robin and Daniel. They both had their own health struggles from blood clots, obesity, and stomach issues.

From Robin: A couple years ago I was sitting in the emergency room waiting for several tests that would tell me I had a blood clot in my right lung among other things. It was not a good 24 hours at all and woke me up to how seriously I needed to take my health in the future! A lot has changed in one year! I’ve lost 30 pounds, I’m not taking any form of medication at all, I workout 3-5 times a week and eat mostly all paleo (still cheat too often lol). I’ve still got a long way to go to reach all my goals, especially with weight, but I’m choosing to focus on how far I’ve come this year rather than how much more I wish I’d accomplished! I could not have done it without Dr. Kurt Perkins, Trinity Fitness or my extremely encouraging husband!! I am very excited for a new year and new goals to accomplish!!

Now parents to a newborn, they are figuring out how to create a healthy culture for their family as it expands.

Take a listen in as they have turned their personal health journey into a family stewardship calling to not only raise their daughter and give her an unfair advantage in life but to also looking at your physical health as a way to honor God and develop relationships.

UPDATE: Since the recording of this podcast, Robin is down 10 pounds since getting back in gear after the baby. She is primarily using keto/low carb principles. And with Daniel's folks in town helping with the baby, his father has lost 15 pounds already.

What happens when you leave the corporate world to pursue your life's purpose, passion, and mission? You might end up really sick. What happens when that life's passion is potentially wrecking your health? Do you double down and work harder? Do you change course? Do you give up the dream?

Follow Lynn's journey from Washington DC to a farm outside of Austin, Tx and the toll pursuing one's passion can have on your health. But also follow Lynn's incredibly inspiring words that helped her pick her self up and create health so she can continue to pursue her passion and life's work.

A wife, author, future 90 year old bad ass, and race horse rescuer, Lynn has fought hard through Hashimoto's, arthritic pain and inflammation, fatigue, and plenty of natural disasters to pursue her passion, learning to take care of her health (the hard way) along the way.

SERIOUSLY: You might want to avoid ear buds while listening to this as they had a tendency to speak on top of the microphone. There's nothing wrong with your app or listening device's sound, it's just a 7 and 5 year old being a 7 and 5 year old.
